Tim Pauley – Member Attorney
During his thirty-five years of practicing as an attorney, Tim has handled all types of employment matters including wage and hour issues, occupational safety and health matters, arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, employment discrimination issues, and traditional labor matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act. His work as an attorney primarily devoted to representing workers who have suffered illegal discrimination including termination in the work place. He specializes in helping and litigating on behalf of workers who have been illegally denied overtime and minimum wages including successfully prosecuting class actions on behalf of workers against major U.S. corporations. He has litigated numerous labor and employment cases before federal and state agencies and in federal and state courts. Tim was a trial attorney with the Office of the Solicitor, U.S. Department of Labor and with the National Labor Relations Board. In addition to his work in the public sector, he has been an in-house attorney with two major U.S. corporations in New York and Seattle and two major law firms in Seattle. Tim is a graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law (J.D.) and holds a Masters Degree in Labor Law (LL.M) from New York University. He is licensed to practice law in Washington, Illinois and Indiana.
In his spare time, Tim is an avid golfer. He and his wife live in downtown Seattle. They have two sons, both of whom graduated from Washington State University and one who practices law with him.
Ryan Pauley – Member Attorney
Ryan practices business, labor and employment, and personal injury law. Ryan’s business law practice provides cost effective and practical litigation services for startup, developing and established businesses in the areas of business and employment law. Ryan also represents businesses in a variety of transactional contexts including the preparation of contracts and other legal documents, corporate governance and entity formation. His employment law practice also focuses on representing employees of financial institutions and commission sales employees in both individual and class actions. Ryan’s personal injury practice is devoted to representing individuals who have been injured in automobile accidents or by a professional’s negligence. In that regard, since 2009, Ryan has been an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice, formerly known as the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
Ryan earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law in May 2008 where he graduated with honors. During law school, Ryan worked in the legal department at Insightful Corporation and volunteered as a lawyer at the Ronald A. Peterson Law Clinic where he worked on a clemency petition for a man convicted under Washington State’s “three strikes” law. After graduating from law school Ryan and Tim founded Pauley Law Group, pllc.
